I moved here 2014 onto an estate that has been here since 1979. We downsized from a 3 bed semi in Sidcup. We lived quite near the A2 so pollution was a huge factor in moving to a rural spot as my husband has COPD (breathing difficulties) it has made a significant difference to he's health. Like most city living Sidcup was and still is suffering a crime wave and we were constantly looking over our shoulders every other house or car being broken in to.Moving here has made a huge difference to our health, I hadn't realised how I had been living on my nerves and my husband struggling to breathe. We feel that increased capacity in the area will bring both problems back to our door. I don't think I can face living in fear of being robbed or mugged or watch my husband try to breathe.We love the community feel here where people say good morning to each other this doesn't happen in the city. ​ Please let it stay a family friendly, clean air, safe village that we have longed for and love.
