MP Helen Grant meets protesters ahead of March For Marden

MP Helen Grant was in Marden today to meet protestors ahead of tomorrow’s planned demonstration.

Residents are angry about suggestions the village could accommodate a proposed 2,000-home “garden community”.

They say the village simply can’t take that number of new homes – despite promises from Countryside Properties the development would include two new schools, health facilities and office space.
