Marden residents overwhelmingly do not want nor need this development. Marden is an historic rural Kentish village and needs to be protected from encroachment and urbanisation. We don’t want ‘another Milton Keynes’ on our doorstep.

We aren’t opposed to all development – villages and towns should grow organically over time. But doubling the size of Marden village will spoil the entire Low Weald area and place undue pressure on surrounding towns & villages.

Our village has already seen over 500 new houses built since 2015 alone. Join us in our fight to protect the Low Weald before it is ruined forever.
